RHEOVIS® AS 1920 is a highly effective rheological control thickener for systems which are supplied as “dry systems” and require the addition of water for activation prior to their use. Typical application examples are plasters, wall finishes and cement. The polymer provides the rheology-control effect through extensive swelling of the high-molecular-weight polymer in alkali, in the presence of water.
