Highly compatible silicone-based defoamer solution for high gloss paints and varnishes based on acrylics and polyurethane dispersions with minimized risk of cratering.

FOAMSTAR^® SI 2292 NC is a defoamer and deaerating agent for use in purely aqueous coatings and those coatings containing co solvents based on polymer emulsions and applied by curtain coating, spraying, dipping, rolling or brushing on wood, wood products or metal. Due to its long-term defoaming effect FOAMSTAR^® SI 2292 NC has proved to be suitable in emulsion and suspension polymerization, particularly in the manufacture of PVC, vinyl acetate and acrylic emulsions. FOAMSTAR^® SI 2292 NC may be used during polymerization and monomer stripping.
